It's easy to start a fight about whether there are gender differences when it comes to mental skills, but there's little debate that patterns of mental illness and disorders vary between the sexes. Women, for example, are more likely to get depressed (see table). Men are more severely afflicted by schizophrenia. Females have more anxiety. Males exhibit more antisocial behavior.
